Head Snapper Chardonnay
Origin:
Monterey County
Winemaker's Comments:
Aromas of soft peach, light honeysuckle and citrus with hints of vanilla and clove. The palate is soft, rich and layered with a generous finish of poached pear and quince.
Winemaking Techniques:
The cool climate and rocky soil of Monterey County are ideal conditions for Chardonnay grapes. After harvest, the wine is aged in French oak for texture and creaminess that allows the fruit characteristics to shine.
Pairings:
Enjoy with parmesan shrimp scampi, creamy herbed chicken or simply with a wedge of aged jack cheese.
Alcohol: 14.1% pH: 3.37
WARNING: MAY CAUSE WHIPLASH
When a wine is so memorable and it makes you do a double take, you know it’s a headsnapper.
